Skill-up training 2017 fall

The aim of the course is to prepare you to analyze big data, interpret it and extract meanings from it by computational operation. Specifically, we will learn following things.

• Basic usage of Python3.
• Setting up a programming environment on your computer.
• Linux command line operation.
• Extracting data from a file, editing it and outputting it to a file (I/O).

On class 1 and 2, we will learn how to use Python3 throughout web based learning tool. On class 3, we will set up a programming environment on our computer and learn how to use Linux commands. On 4th and final class, we will conduct actual data analysis with Python3 on your computer.

The class is scheduled to be held at 16:20 - 18:35 on 23rd - 27th October 2017.

The course consists of 5 times of classes.

 Class 01 Introduction and web based learning with Codecademy. Class 02 Web based learning with Codeccademy. Class 03 Setting up programming environment on own computer. Class 04 Actual data handling. Class 05 Actual data handling.
